1. Service Overview

Sift is an AI-powered application that transforms web content into concise audio briefs using third-party AI inference and text-to-speech technology. By using Sift, you agree to these terms.

2. Usage Conditions

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and only with content you are authorized to access.
You retain ownership of any content you submit. You grant Sift a limited license to process and store your submitted content and generated outputs solely to provide the service to you.

3. Subscription & Payments

Sift Free: Access to basic features with usage limits.
Sift Pro: Full access to all features, including higher limits and priority processing (where applicable).
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID and the App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4. Intellectual Property

The original articles you process remain the property of their respective authors/publishers. Sift provides a transformation service for personal consumption. Generated summaries and audio are for your personal use.

5. Service Limitations

We strive for high availability, but we cannot guarantee the service will be uninterrupted. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

6. AI Disclaimer

Our service uses Artificial Intelligence to generate summaries. While we aim for quality, AI models can produce errors. Always verify critical information with the original source. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in generated content.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sift and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
